Mechanical Engineer

Seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer with strong communication and interpersonal skills to support product design, project management and manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary engineering contact for customers during projects Develop and update designs using CAD software: AutoCAD or SolidWorks Manage projects from initial sale through final delivery Create assembly drawings and bills of materials Collaborate with mechanical teams and manage workflow Maintain organized project documentation and drawings Design and develop new products and improve existing products Support manufacturing environments with prototyping and testing activities Maintain organized documentation and ensure use of current approved drawings Provide recommendations based on engineering principles and data analysis Create, modify, review, and approve engineering drawings Maintain accurate document control Conduct mechanical system analysis and support product and process development Prototype new products, equipment, and manufacturing processes Manage assigned projects, including scheduling and organization of deliverables Ensure all engineering work meets customer specifications and company standards Ensure projects stay on schedule and within scope

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience 2+ years of previous experience in mechanical engineering or mechanical design Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD Experience creating manufacturing and assembly drawings Understanding of manufacturing processes
