We're looking for a Mechanical Product Engineer who wants variety, visibility, and the opportunity to shape next‑generation products used across multiple industries. You'll design, test, improve, and support mechanical systems throughout their full lifecycle—while working with a tight-knit team that values craftsmanship, curiosity, and practical engineering. What You'll Do As a key contributor on our Product Engineering team, you will: Design & Innovation Develop mechanical components, assemblies, and mechanisms for new and existing product lines. Apply engineering fundamentals to improve performance, durability, safety, and usability. Lead and participate in design reviews with internal teams and external partners. Hands-On Engineering Support prototype builds, testing, validation, and limited field trials. Troubleshoot manufacturing or assembly issues and drive permanent corrective actions. Collaborate daily with machinists, technicians, quality, and manufacturing engineers. Product Ownership Maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, and technical documentation. Develop and manage BOMs and support all NPI (New Product Introduction) activities. Support warranty investigations and evaluate in‑market product performance. Continuous Improvement Lead cost‑reduction initiatives and design optimizations. Improve manufacturability and streamline production processes. Partner with product management to ensure customer and market requirements are met. What You Bring Required Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 2+ years of mechanical design or product engineering experience. Strong 3D CAD skills (any modern platform). Understanding of machining, molding, casting, assembly, or related manufacturing processes. Clear communication and solid documentation skills. Preferred GD&T experience. Familiarity with PLM/ERP systems. Simulation/analysis exposure (FEA, tolerance stack-ups, etc.). Experience in lean, continuous improvement, or hands‑on product development environments. What the Work Environment Looks Like This is a first-shift, office‑plus‑shop-floor engineering role. Expect time in CAD, time in the lab, and time on the production floor when needed. You'll work with prototypes, tools, fixtures, and test equipment. PPE may be required for certain areas. If you enjoy combining design with real-world build and test work—you'll thrive here. Why Engineers Love Working Here Your designs actually get built. You see the full impact of your work. Small, collaborative engineering team where your ideas matter. Broad variety in your daily work—design, testing, troubleshooting, improvement projects. Real career growth opportunities as our product lines and engineering needs expand. Supportive culture that values curiosity, craftsmanship, and continuous learning.
