Job Description
Are you looking to use your engineering capabilities, project management and collective skills in your next position? We could use your expertise on our team! As a Project Engineer II you will be responsible for managing project activities throughout the product lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. This role requires a strong technical background, project management skills, and the ability to interface with both internal teams and external customers to ensure successful project execution. The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations - with an unrivaled record of on time and on (or under) budget deliveries.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management + Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Technical Oversight + Provide technical oversight and guidance to project teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives. Customer Interface + Act as a primary point of contact for external
- and/or
- internal
- customers on technical matters, ensuring their requirements are met.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- + Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- + 4-6 years relevant leadership and/or project management experience. + Experience with advanced project management tools and methodologies. + In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations. +
- Experience with 3DEXPERIENCE (CATIA) 3DX 2023x or 2025x.
- + •Knowledge of industry-standard mechanical design principles, to include, but not limited to parametric design, model-based definition, material hardware selection, manufacturing, and production processes.
- + •Experience in providing technical guidance to a diverse team of engineers on issues related to mechanical engineering.
- + Experience leading a multi-disciplinary design and development team and communicating with program management and customers.
- Background in the Aviation Industry.
