Job Title:
Senior Mechanical Engineer / Product Engineer - Mechanical Job Description The Senior Mechanical Engineer / Product Engineer - Mechanical supports both new product development and the continuous improvement of existing mechanical designs. This role focuses on designing, sustaining, and optimizing mechanical components and assemblies while balancing performance, quality, cost, and manufacturability. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring reliable, market-ready products from concept through production, while also supporting manufacturing, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvement. This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on design work, problem-solving in manufacturing environments, and leading efforts that enhance product performance and reliability. Responsibilities + Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for new and existing products. + Apply sound mechanical engineering principles to improve product performance, reliability, and user experience. + Coordinate with engineering team members to align designs with project schedules and budget targets. + Prepare, update, and maintain 3D models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation. + Conduct and participate in design reviews with internal and external stakeholders to ensure robust designs. + Support manufacturing by identifying root causes of production issues and implementing effective corrective actions. + Collaborate with operations teams on cost-reduction, manufacturability, and continuous improvement initiatives. + Prepare and maintain bills of materials and support production launch activities. + Assist with prototype builds, testing, and validation activities to confirm design intent and performance. + Coordinate limited field or application testing as required to validate product performance in real-world conditions. + Partner with product, manufacturing, quality, and customer support teams to resolve technical issues. + Support warranty and product performance investigations by analyzing data and recommending corrective actions. + Collaborate with commercial and planning teams to evaluate feasibility, cost, and customer requirements for new and existing products. + Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization, accountability, and follow-through. + Produce clear, accurate engineering documentation that complies with relevant mechanical standard To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
