Job Description
Summary As the Engineering Manager, you will lead our team in the design and execution for equipment and systems integration. In this role you will ensure project success through effective project management and scheduling, while leveraging your engineering expertise. With core skills in Engineering, Math and Design, you will work to improve our quality in the manufacturing and construction processes. Your ability to analyze data and conduct research will be essential in fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. Responsibilities Oversee engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Utilize CAD software for design and modeling, while applying mechanical and civil knowledge to solve all engineering challenges. Conduct analysis of the equipment and systems designed to identify and resolve issues in the manufacturing processes. Collaborate with the sales, shop and field teams, to implement project management best practices and improve workflow efficiency. Mentor and guide the engineering staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Job Requirements Mechanical Engineer Degree with related work experience in Bulk Material Handling Systems, Equipment Design and Integration. Background in mechanical, structural and civil engineering. Proficient in CAD 2D/3D or equivalent design software. Windows - Word, Excel and Outlook. Project management and job scheduling software. Surveying Equipment and Utilization. 7-10 years design experience in the bulk material processing industry, with extensive knowledge in equipment design, detailing, procurement, steel fabrication, paint, assembly and installation processes. Organized, with excellent communication skills and accountability for your actions. Ability to maintain project schedules and perform the specific job task, within an allotted project / equipment budget.
