This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys both office-based design work and time in plant environments. You will help develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and detailed designs for mechanical and process equipment used in industrial production facilities. Responsibilities Develop project scope, budgets, and installation schedules Size, select, and design industrial process equipment and mechanical systems Create P&IDs, PFDs, heat and mass balances, equipment lists, piping lists, motor lists, and tie-in lists Work with internal controls, automation, electrical, CAD, and mechanical installation teams Coordinate with vendors and internal resources on equipment sizing and design Support installation activities and document field changes for project closeout Provide technical solutions when process or installation challenges arise Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering preferred Experience with industrial process equipment, plant engineering, or capital projects Ability to work effectively with engineering, controls, electrical, CAD, and installation teams Strong communication, organization, and time management skills AutoCAD knowledge is helpful Rendering process or equipment installation experience is a plus Willingness to travel overnight to plant locations, approximately 20% to 30% Why This Role?
