What You'll Do:
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will provide mechanical engineering assurance for equipment, piping, materials, and construction activities for the TNT Project. The role ensures mechanical systems are safe, reliable, maintainable, and compliant with applicable codes and Dyno Nobel standards. Following commissioning, the role transitions to a site‑based Mechanical Engineer supporting plant reliability.
Other duties include:
Review and assure mechanical and piping design deliverables Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications Provide technical challenge to EPCM designs Support specification and selection of mechanical equipment Review vendor data, drawings, and operating manuals Ensure maintainability and reliability considerations are embedded Provide field engineering support during installation and testing Support punch listing, mechanical completion, and commissioning activities Resolve mechanical issues during start‑up Support maintenance strategy development and spare parts definition Ensure documentation supports operations and maintenance Support mechanical reliability and integrity programs Provide engineering input to troubleshooting and improvements Support MOC and long‑term asset management
What We're Looking For:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering 7+ years experience in industrial facilities (chemicals/explosives preferred) Knowledge of ASME, API, piping and pressure equipment standards Experience supporting construction and commissioning Strong understanding of maintainability and asset lifecycle Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and team player.
