Job Description
Overview:

Our team works together in a supportive, collaborative environment to provide our customers with the best products at competitive prices. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Designer to join our team. As a Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for creating and developing mechanical designs for various food packaging equipment projects. You will work closely with engineers and team members from multiple departments to ensure the successful completion of projects.Duties:
- Handle all mechanical aspects of design of machinery
- Collaborate with other team members to maintain cohesive system design
- Work with Controls Department to incorporate electrical/pneumatic components
- Work with manufacturing to ensure manufacturability and operation of equipment
- Make drawing corrections and/or revisions to meet project requirements
- Research new technologies for continuous improvement of design
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, or similar tools
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices
- Familiarity with codes, standards, and regulations related to mechanical design
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Salary will be commensurate with experience.

$85,000.00- $90,000.
