Job Description
A nationally recognised General Contractor is seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to support the delivery of a large‑scale data center project in Kansas. This is a key site‑based leadership role, responsible for managing all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing activities on a complex, mission‑critical build. The ideal candidate will bring strong field leadership, deep MEP coordination expertise, and a proven background delivering high‑value data center or other technically complex projects. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all MEP site activities from early works through commissioning and handover Coordinate closely with MEP subcontractors, vendors, commissioning agents, and design teams Oversee installation of electrical systems, cooling infrastructure, UPS, generators, and life‑safety systems Ensure strict compliance with project schedules, QA/QC standards, and safety requirements Drive daily planning, look‑ahead scheduling, and progress reporting Identify and resolve constructability, sequencing, and coordination issues Support commissioning, testing, and client turnover activities Maintain clear communication with the project management team and client representatives Required Experience & Qualifications 5+ years of experience in construction, with a strong focus on MEP systems Proven experience on data center, mission‑critical, or high‑tech projects strongly preferred Background working for a General Contractor or large MEP trade contractor Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems coordination Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and fast‑paced site operations Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills OSHA 30 (or equivalent) preferred Why Join High‑profile, long‑term data center project with a stable pipeline of future work Competitive salary, per diem, housing or relocation support if required Opportunity to work with a top‑tier contractor in the mission‑critical space Clear progression path into senior superintendent or project leadership roles Get job alerts Share Copied to clipboard Related roles Water/ Wastewater Project Manager•Gresham, OR
