Job Description

MECH & CHEM
Engineering Design Intern @ Downhole Chemical Solutions Day to day, you'll be doing design and drafting work on an active project portfolio — contributing to new equipment concepts, updating and creating drawings, and supporting the engineering team with technical analysis. You'll also get hands-on exposure in our shop environment, assisting with fabrication, assembly, and equipment testing alongside experienced engineers and technicians. This is a small team. That means broader exposure, more ownership, and work that matters — but also that everyone contributes at every level when the job calls for it.
What You'll Work On:
New Tech Prototype — A new equipment development project currently in active design and early fabrication. You'll contribute to mechanical and process design, support fabrication, and potentially see it through to field testing. Hydration & Flow Improvement Project — Engineering effort to improve polymer hydration and shear performance — a project with both fluid mechanics and mechanical design dimensions. Unit Build & Commissioning Supp ort — DCS is in an active equipment build cycle. You'll support assembly, testing, and commissioning work alongside the engineering team. Field Support Design & Drawings — Design and drafting support for equipment upgrade projects across DCS's operating fleet. Emerging Development Projects — DCS has a growing pipeline of new equipment and system concepts. Strong candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to early-stage design work as these projects develop.
Salary Range:
$20 per hour
