Job Description

Mechanical Engineer responsible for piping design, pipe stress analysis, mechanical design packages, equipment specifications, and construction support for industrial and petrochemical facilities. Job Requirements 5 to 15 or more years of mechanical engineering experience Onsite availability Extensive pipe stress analysis experience Mechanical piping design experience Facility layout experience in industrial facilities Experience leading mechanical piping system design Experience performing piping stress analysis calculations for large rotating equipment Experience developing mechanical design packages for compressor stations and oil/gas production facilities Experience developing equipment specifications Experience supporting equipment purchasing activities Experience providing construction support Experience working with mechanical designers Caesar II experience Navisworks experience Microsoft Excel experience Microsoft Teams experience Microsoft Outlook experience Pipe Flow experience Preferred Skills Professional Engineer license Petrochemical facility experience Oil and gas production facility experience Compressor station design experience Experience leading project design activities Experience coordinating mechanical engineering work across project teams Experience with large rotating equipment systems Job Responsibilities Lead design of mechanical piping systems for industrial and petrochemical facilities Perform pipe stress analysis for piping systems connected to large rotating equipment Develop mechanical design packages for compressor station and oil/gas production facilities Develop facility layouts for industrial mechanical systems Prepare equipment specifications for mechanical systems and components Support purchasing activities for mechanical equipment Provide construction support during project execution Coordinate closely with mechanical designers on piping layouts and design packages Use Caesar II for pipe stress analysis Use Navisworks for model review and coordination Use Pipe Flow for piping system analysis Support multiple industrial and petrochemical facility projects
