Job Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a contract opportunity in Chelmsford, MA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
(REQUIRED
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
):
  • AA Degree with 10 years experience or more
  • Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance
  • Experience in electronic packaging for military applications.
  • Experience with design and documentation of Circuit Card Assemblies, Printed Circuit Boards and Cabling.
  • Experience with CREO and Windchill
  • Knowledgeable of GD&T
  • Familiar with Change Board processes and documentation control
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The ideal candidate for this position will perform electronics packaging designs, testing and verification of microwave electronics components and sub-systems.
Experience manufacturing, troubleshooting and root cause analysis of electronic assemblies is also desirable.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
(DESIRED
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
):
  • BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience with electronics packaging for microwave electronics.
  • Experience with CREO, Windchill, Zuken.
  • Hands on experience with building and testing electronic assemblies.
  • Knowledge of GD&T is preferred.
  • Knowledge of materials and processes used in electronics is preferred.

  • Accredited Associates of Arts Degree
