FEA / CAE
Engineer to support structural analysis and simulation activities for advanced engineering and product development programs. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and hands-on experience using Ansys for simulation, modeling, and validation of complex mechanical systems and components. This is an onsite role based in Norwood, Massachusetts supporting high-performance engineering programs. Key Responsibilities Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for structural, thermal, and mechanical components and systems. Develop and validate simulation models using Ansys. Conduct stress, vibration, fatigue, thermal, and dynamic analysis on mechanical assemblies and components. Analyze simulation results and provide engineering recommendations for design improvements and optimization. Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and systems engineering teams throughout product development cycles. Support root cause analysis and troubleshooting for engineering and performance-related issues. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and engineering presentations based on analysis findings. Participate in design reviews and support validation and testing activities. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE). Hands-on expertise with Ansys simulation tools. Experience performing structural and mechanical analysis. Strong understanding of stress, thermal, vibration, and fatigue analysis concepts. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and CAD models. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, or heavy manufacturing industries. Exposure to multi-physics simulations and advanced modeling techniques. Familiarity with materials analysis and mechanical design principles. Experience working in regulated or high-reliability engineering environments.
