6 month contract with potential for extension or conversion Job Description We are seeking a highly capable Process Engineer with strong technical and analytical skills and a proven ability to execute effectively under aggressive timelines. This role will support the introduction and production ramp of two new products at their manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in process engineering, with experience spanning early‑stage prototype builds through production‑level assembly. Success in this role requires comfort in a fast‑paced environment driven by rapid scaling and evolving priorities.

MUST HAVES

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or equivalent Proficiency with MCAD software for 3D modeling and 2D drafting 5+ years of experience in mechanical or process engineering roles Experience designing mechanical tooling and fixtures for assembly processes Hands‑on experience with rapid prototype assembly Experience in both prototype and production manufacturing environments Experience with production tooling Project management experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of quality control and process validation methodologies Familiarity with ISO‑based quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) Strong analytical, root‑cause analysis, and problem‑solving skills

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS

Experience using Agile methodologies for PLM Proficiency with SolidWorks for 3D modeling and 2D drafting Mechanical stack‑up analysis experience Structural load analysis knowledge Familiarity with engineering project management tools such as JIRA, Agile, or similar systems Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of North Reading, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
