Job Description:

The purpose of the Integration and Test engineer position is to synthesize and define test processes for complex electro-optical and electro-mechanical systems. Coordinate assembly level through system level integration and test activities and ensure that technical obligations are fulfilled. Experienced professional with proficient knowledge of job area and practice knowledge of project management. May manage projects or processes with general supervision Communications with contacts inside and outside of own department to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures. Recommends enhancements with systems and processes. Works to achieve operational targets for specific programs and projects with moderate impact on departmental results.

Essential Functions:

Perform software and hardware development for automated test processes Develop automated test plans, test procedures and test cases Execute automated tests and analyze test results Troubleshoot automated test stations, lead root cause and corrective action efforts Utilize software tools to perform software/hardware troubleshooting Develop and deliver technical presentations to communicate test development activity plans and status to internal and external stakeholders Follow processes in conformance with established policies and objectives Support internal and external design reviews to ensure design for testability Support Operations in failure trend analysis and ensure failure trends are quickly and effectively identified and resolved

Qualifications:

Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and minimum 6 years of prior Integration/Test experience; OR Graduate degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience; OR in lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience Ability to obtain a US DOD Secret Clearance (requires US Citizenship)
