Advanced Mechanical Engineer

Basic Qualifications Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS

: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES

As a mechanical engineer for Navy Fleet Ballistic Missile Fire Control programs, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for Designing, Testing, Implementing, Building, and Installing Fire Control Tactical, Trainer, and Test equipment. In addition, you will be responsible for the cable plant engineering within those designs. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Cabling and Harness design, Electromechanical equipment design, Electronics Packaging design, Production Support, Installation Support, Environmental Testing, Modeling & Analysis, and/or Drawing development. Experience with Mentor Graphics CHS or Capital Harness is a plus.

Workplace Options:

This position is fully on-site for a period of 1 year with possible Hybrid/Flex after that.
