Job Description

Our client, a leading innovator in the medical device industry, is seeking a dedicated and skilled R&D Engineer Sr. to join their dynamic team. As an R&D Engineer Sr., you will be an integral part of the Research & Development department supporting the development of cutting-edge medical technologies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, innovative thinking, and excellent collaboration skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

$50 to 55/ hr on w2 What's the Job? Provide technical support in the creation and development of new medical device products, including invasive and non-invasive technologies. Identify and initiate programs that result in innovative applications of existing or new products and technologies. Conduct experiments and develop strategies that extend beyond known scientific and engineering precedents. Review technical documents, attend professional meetings, and interface with suppliers and vendors to enhance professional knowledge. Serve as a technical expert, offering advice, assistance, and direction to project teams and management for problem recognition and resolution. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronic engineering is required. 3-5 years of electrical design experience, preferably in a medical device environment. Experience with electronic design, schematic capture (preferably using Altium), and prototyping with third-party manufacturers. Experience overseeing testing at compliance test houses for medical devices is preferred. Strong understanding of mechanical and electro-mechanical materials, components, and assemblies.
