Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support new product development and engineering change activities for data‑centre related products. This role plays a key part in taking products from concept through prototyping and into manufacture, working closely with production, quality, purchasing, and operations teams. You'll be responsible for maintaining engineering documentation, supporting manufacturing processes, and providing technical input on custom and non‑standard product requests. Key Responsibilitie s Lead mechanical engineering input for new product development and product modifications Develop and improve manufacturing processes alongside cross‑functional teams Create and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, and design documentation Manage bills of materials (BOMs), labor routings, and part number creation Prepare technical quotes for new or non‑standard product designs Interpret customer and project requirements, identifying feasibility, lead times, and risks Produce project submittal documentation for design approval Support manufacturing during new process introduction and implementation Promote quality, safety, and compliance within all engineering activities About You Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related STEM discipline Up to 5 years' experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment preferred Strong experience with SolidWorks and 2D/3D CAD systems Knowledge of engineering drawing standards and manufacturing processes Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM is advantageous Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
