Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in the Aerospace and Defense Industry. Experience with Commercial Derivative Aircraft. Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per

ASME Y14.5.

Understanding of Engineering Simulation such as Finite Element structural Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and Thermal Analysis. Knowledge of industry-standard mechanical design principles, including parametric design, model-based definition, material hardware selection, manufacturing, and production processes. Work Environment The role involves frequently walking, sitting, standing, and climbing stairs. It requires repetitive hand, arm, and finger motions. There is rare exposure to outdoor elements, fumes, hazardous materials, and loud noises. You will be part of a Mechanical Engineering Team, which is expected to grow significantly. The environment is supportive of innovation and teamwork, providing opportunities to work on exciting programs such as the modification of Bombardier aircraft for defense purposes. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Hagerstown, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $51.74 - $65.00/hr.
