Do you have an engineering degree- preferably in mechanical or structural engineering? Do you like working outside to inspect mechanical systems and structures, perform specialized testing, and collect data? Do you want to apply your engineering knowledge and experience to become an expert in non-destructive testing? Can you climb and/or crawl into large (empty) fuel tanks, with an interest in staying a while to inspect the structure? If so, we have a unique opportunity for you! As a Mechanical Integrity Engineer I (aka Engineer-In-Training or EIT), this entry level position assists in the field inspection and preparation of engineering documents. Applies basic knowledge of engineering and construction materials related to engineering evaluation and design in collaboration with other engineers or project managers. Applies theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience of non-destructive testing methods and inspection techniques to obtain accurate inspection results. Works with engineering teams to assist in the evaluation of various project aspects.
