Job Description

Role:
Automotive Fuel Economy Engineer Vehicle Homologation & Compliance Location:
Allen Park, MI (Onsite from Day 1)
Job Type:
W2 Contract Experience required: 7 years
JD:
Responsibilities including: Develop and maintain project work plans including status updates. Coordinate with activities regarding prototype vehicle and part requirements and availability. Support communication and confirmation of vehicle instrumentation requirements. Coordinate with proving ground to execute vehicle mileage break-in.
Perform fuel economy testing:
o Test request generation o Data analysis o Coordinating vehicle updates, reflashes and/or troubleshooting as required. o Cross-functional meeting support as required o Coordinate catalyst bench aging Compile and submit test and supporting documentation to EPA as needed or required. Support any EPA confirmatory testing.
Requirements:
BS in Engineering or related field Fuel Economy homologation and compliance experience.
