VA VE Engineer Location - Dearborn Mi Fulltime /contrat role Job Description -

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in automotive product development or VAVE/cost engineering.
Strong understanding of automotive systems: Powertrain (engine, Transmission, driveline and clutch etc)
Experience with manufacturing processes (injection molding, part assembly).
Knowledge of cost breakdown and should-cost analysis.
Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, NX) and PLM systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.
Familiarity with Ford systems and processes (GPDS, WERS, AIMS).
Strong supplier collaboration and negotiation skills.
Experience in teardown benchmarking and cost workshops.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving
