Mechanical Design Engineer

  • 85k/annually DOE! This position is a direct hire opportunity! Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer for our manufacturing client to start immediately at $80k
  • 85k/annually DOE!

Responsibilities:
This role is responsible for the design and documentation of products and projects. Designs must be developed and managed to maintain an effective balance across three key areas:
Performance:
Ensure all technical, quality, and regulatory standards are met
Schedule:
Deliver projects within established timelines
Cost:
Adhere to defined budget requirements
Location:
Grand Rapids, MI Schedule/Shift Details:
First Shift, 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday Overtime as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field Minimum of 2 years of experience in machine design At least 2 years of experience using SolidWorks Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of machine design and manufacturing processes Ability to apply established mechanical engineering principles and standards Excellent communication skills Working knowledge of hydraulics and/or pneumatics Willingness to travel on a limited, as-needed basis
