Job Description

Job Summary The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and reviewing the processes involved in manufacturing components to ensure they meet all internal and external quality and performance standards. This role requires a proactive approach to process improvement, troubleshooting, and working collaboratively with production associates and suppliers to ensure the efficient production of high-quality products. Job Responsibilities
  • Design processes to ensure that components meet all internal and external requirements
  • Design, develop, and implement tooling and gauging solutions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to procure necessary tooling and components.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the production floor to support production associates and address any manufacturing issues.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing data to drive continuous process improvements, enhance product quality, improve delivery times, increase throughput, and reduce costs.
  • Support new product launches and continuous improvement activities with PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) and APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) teams. Job Requirements

  • Meet quality and production requirements each day Qualifications
  • BA in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in related field or discipline
  • Proficient with MS Office and
CAD / CAM
software
  • Experience with Multi-Spindle Lathes, CNC, Grinding, and Broaching preferred
  • Experience with Design of Experiments and process improvement methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma certification is preferred
