Advantage Technical is placing a Senior Design Release Engineer with a leading global automotive OEM in Southfield, MI - where your work on emergency call and telematics architecture will directly impact lives. What You'll Do (Job Duties) Own Automotive Emergency Call (eCall) system features end-to-end: Automatic Crash Notification (ACN), manual SOS, Minimum Set of Data (MSD) generation/transmission, crash-to-call workflowsDefine system architecture across telematics Electronic Control Unit (ECUs), Restraint Control Module (RCM), Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), and communication modulesLead CAN/Ethernet interface design between RCM and telematics units; define Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) communication protocolsEnsure compliance with the following e
