The ideal candidate will have experience designing customized industrial systems and working directly with customers to develop efficient, practical, and scalable solutions for manufacturing, distribution, and logistics environments. As an Engineer at Conveyability, you will collaborate with customers, sales teams, and project managers to design material handling systems that improve operational efficiency, maximize facility space, and support long-term growth. Responsibilities Design and develop customized material handling and warehouse storage systems. Create system layouts, drawings, and engineered solutions for conveyor systems, racking, automation, and warehouse environments. Collaborate with customers to understand operational challenges, workflow requirements, and project objectives. Work closely with the sales and project management teams to develop practical and cost-effective solutions. Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Assist with project estimation, proposal development, and system recommendations. Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, and internal teams throughout project execution. Review and interpret customer requirements, facility layouts, and technical specifications. Support installation teams and provide technical guidance during implementation. Participate in site visits, field measurements, and project meetings as needed. Ensure designs meet applicable safety standards and operational requirements. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred. Experience in material handling, conveyor systems, warehouse storage systems, or industrial equipment design preferred. Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and engineering specifications. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or warehouse environments is a plus. Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering software tools.
