CNC Manufacturing Engineer

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None Purpose:

Design fixtures, tooling, and processes in

Machining Department Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program
• Program CNC lathes and mills
• Assemble fixtures
• Support Machining Department with technical assistance
• Develop work instructions
• Performs and manages PPAP's and PFMEA's
• Quotes jobs to Sales Department personnel
• Track costs of materials and process times
• Review scrap to determine cause of problem and prevent re-occurrence
• Assists with maintenance of machines
• Order special tooling required for specific jobs
• Aid in product design by working with Design Engineering Department
• Training and support for set-up personnel
• Complete new part set-up and process
• Assist in creating inspection process for Quality Assurance Department Implement automation with robotic cellsRemain up-to-date on latest technology for Machining DepartmentPerform job following Quality System proceduresInitiate deviationsFollow schedule for job set-upDesign new fixtures and order required toolingDemonstrate commitment to the TEAM Industries Quality Management system and Objectives.
