12 Months Position Summary We are seeking an Engineer - Equipment III focused on Macro Modification Projects supporting cellular network infrastructure initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring all required equipment for macro cell site deployments and upgrades is identified, ordered, tracked, integrated, and delivered on schedule. The candidate will work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, RF, construction, facilities, and vendor teams to support deployment activities and ensure successful project execution. Key Responsibilities Equipment Planning & Procurement Determine equipment requirements for new and existing macro cell sites based on engineering plans and project scope. Coordinate equipment ordering and integration activities to provide complete project equipment packages. Initiate material requests and coordinate shipments from centralized warehouses. Use FUZE for equipment ordering and procurement activities. Project Coordination & Execution Partner with cross-functional teams including: RF Design Operations Real Estate Construction Facilities System Performance Attend project update meetings and provide status reports. Support implementation of new technologies and services. Ensure projects meet scheduled milestones and turn-up dates. Inventory & Cost Management Track equipment inventory using approved procedures and systems. Monitor equipment expenditures and support cost reduction initiatives. Manage "just-in-time" ordering strategies. Ensure vendor payments through PeopleSoft Equipment Procurement. Equipment Installation Support Oversee equipment installation and acceptance activities. Review engineering drawings for accuracy and completeness. Track equipment lifecycle and support inventory control. Required Qualifications Education / Experience Associate's degree OR Two or more years of work experience Three or more years of relevant industry experience Required Skills Strong knowledge of: Microsoft Office Suite Google Workspace Excellent attention to detail Strong multitasking abilities Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines Strong communication and coordination skills Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of DC Power Systems in telecommunications environments Understanding of cellular network architecture Experience with: Ericsson base station equipment
