This includes special service tools and equipment for automotive, commercial, and agricultural/off-road vehicles. ... This role is accountable for designing new products, redesigning existing ones, and ensuring prototypes meet schedule, cost, and performance requirements. The engineer owns all engineering documentation, specifications, and quality deliverables for assigned projects or customers.
Schedule:

Responsibilities:
Lead product development using strong project management and engineering best practices. Design mechanical products using GD&T, DFMEA, DFM, CAD, testing, and analysis. Create and maintain engineering documentation (drawings, BOMs, test reports, design reviews, risk assessments). Build strong partnerships with customers and collaborate with product management teams. Support production through continuous improvement, troubleshooting, and warranty reduction. Conduct validation and verification including FEA, calculations, testing, and design reviews.
Skills:
Proficiency in 3D CAD and 2D drawings (SolidWorks preferred) with GD - Strong mechanical design and analysis capability Understanding of product development and manufacturing processes - Strong collaboration and communication skills Proficiency with
