Shakopee, MN Area We're a growing design-build mechanical contractor working on a wide variety of projects, including industrial, healthcare, commercial, and multifamily buildings. Our engineering team partners closely with construction and VDC teams to bring coordinated, buildable designs to life. This role is ideal for an experienced mechanical engineer who enjoys leading projects, mentoring others, and staying connected to the field . What You'll Do Lead mechanical and plumbing design efforts from concept through construction Review and sign off on engineering deliverables for assigned projects Guide and mentor engineers and designers Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and external partners Support equipment selection, system design, and technical problem-solving Participate in occasional jobsite visits and client meetings What We're Looking For 7-9 years of mechanical engineering experience Prior experience leading design teams or projects Strong background in HVAC and mechanical piping systems Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with BIM tools Knowledge of Minnesota Mechanical and Energy Codes and ASHRAE standards Experience with HVAC loads and energy calculations Comfortable working with both office and field teams Nice to Have (Not Required) Mechanical PE license or active EIT Experience with Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar tools Broader knowledge of plumbing, controls, or building systems Why Consider This Role?
