Responsibilities + Perform applications engineering work, including creating detailed drawings, schematics, weight studies, bills of materials, and other technical documentation to support product design and manufacturing. + Create electrical and hydraulic schematics to interface in-house built equipment with OEM -supplied chassis, ensuring proper integration and functionality. + Analyze customer technical requirements and coordinate with internal departments and units to determine the most appropriate technical and design solutions. + Present design solutions and technical recommendations to customers in a clear and professional manner. + Communicate customer requirements effectively to internal teams and troubleshoot issues as they arise during design, production, or implementation. + Provide product support, leveraging other technical personnel as needed to resolve issues and maintain product quality. + Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product design, documentation, and manufacturing processes. + Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are optimized for production and support design-for-production principles. + Manage and maintain accurate bills of materials to support procurement, manufacturing, and lifecycle management. + Collaborate in a team-based environment, contributing positively to a tight-knit engineering group and supporting shared goals. + Work independently on assigned tasks, demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and the ability to complete work with minimal supervision. + Serve as a professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, representing the engineering function with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
