job summary: Looking for a Mechanical Engineer in Wilmington, NC. Join Our Client, a world-leading innovator in materials science with a 165-year track record of life-changing inventions!
Work alongside other engineering disciplines and machine design experts to translate experimental solutions into functional industrial process equipment.
Execute equipment validation tests directly within manufacturing plants, analyze the resulting data, and make strategic recommendations.
Secure project funding through appropriation requests and expense budgeting, and ensure on-time delivery using established risk management tools.
Continually communicate project results, progress, and detailed equipment designs to the technology development team.

BS/MS in MechE, 5-10 yrs experience, and strong 3D CAD/machine design skills.location:
Wilmington, North Carolina job type: Contract salary: $42.44 - 59.42 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Identify, design, build, and test prototype and pilot manufacturing equipment for existing or revolutionary optical fiber processes to reduce costs and improve product quality.Work alongside other engineering disciplines and machine design experts to translate experimental solutions into functional industrial process equipment.
