Our detailed feasibility studies, pre-design planning, project management, and construction administration services maximize cost-effectiveness, energy efficiency, sustainability, and adaptability. The company staffs 45+ professionals, including mechanical and electrical engineers, LEED Accredited Professionals, telecommunications designers, and a construction manager. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Lincoln, NE for an Mechanical Engineer focusing in Mechanical system design. The Engineer will be responsible for developing building designs, overseeing construction projects, collaborating with various engineering disciplines, and ensuring project compliance with relevant regulations and codes. Day-to-day tasks include design and drafting of construction documents, conducting site assessments, and managing project timelines and budgets. The role requires a strong focus on quality, attention to detail, and team collaboration. Qualifications Engineering skills for developing building designs and plans Project Management skills to oversee projects and manage timelines and budgets Construction skills for practical application and compliance Teamwork skills for effective collaboration with various engineering disciplines Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field Professional Engineer (PE) license is advantageous Experience with CAD software and building information modeling (BIM) is preferred Strong communication and leadership skills
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
