This role acts as a cross-functional leader working with Project Management, Sales, Engineering, Testing, Field Service, and Quality to ensure lessons learned are acted upon and embedded into new products, projects, and standard product lines, reducing risk, cost, and customer impact.
Position Responsibilities:
Monitor end-to-end warranty process including claim validation, investigation, root cause, and cost tracking Analyze warranty trends and identify systemic issues Drive containment and corrective actions and ensure permanent corrective action effectiveness Lead contract and project risk reviews using warranty data Lead cross-functional projects for warranty reduction and product improvements Serve as technical liaison for customers and field service Develop dashboards for warranty trends and project risks Requirements 4-year degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and three to seven years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience ASQ CQE or equivalent certification Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, weldments, and fabrication Experience with failure analysis and root cause investigation Proficiency in 8D, A3, CAPA, PFMEA, DFMEA, Control Plans, Inspection Plans Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills Microsoft Office 365 with fluency in Excel is required Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Short Term & Long Term Disability Training & Development
