Yes, position requires drug testing A Snapshot of Your Day The Mechanical Engineering Intern undertakes a variety of on-going activities and projects at varying levels of professional complexity requiring knowledge within an area of specialty and/or engineering college major. You are a self-starter who will work as a member of the Engineering team in support of tasks including design, computer programming, modeling, analysis, and test activities for commercial cooking equipment. You possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and possess an excellent work ethic. How You'll Make an Impact- Undertake and successfully complete project development tasks.
- Perform basic product design modifications.
- Develop part and assembly drawings for products and equipment.
- Complete engineering change processes as necessary to support existing products and/or release new products.
- Generate three-dimensional models from two-dimensional drawings.
- Perform mechanical design calculations.
- Create test plans for prototypes and existing products and write reports to document the results.
- Communicate project needs with vendors and cross-functional team members. What You Offer
- You are actively pursuing a degree in one of the following: Mechanical, Electrical or Software Engineering.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals with the ability to read, converse, and understand technical English give you a strong foundation to perform this role.
- You possess strong ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- You are mechanically inclined and have experience with powered hand tools.
- You can read schematics and possess good dexterity in hands/fingers.
