Responsibilities:

Conduct thermal performance evaluations of spent fuel casks and spent fuel pools; Conduct Multiphysics simulations, integrating CFD results with structural mechanics and nuclear departments; Conduct design and performance evaluations of heat exchangers; Prepare and review licensing reports, calculation reports, and computer code validations; Build 3D thermal models of various dry storage systems; and Participate in meetings with clients and government regulators.

Requirements:

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related field; Experience with/demonstrated knowledge of Fluid mechanics and heat transfer; Experience with/demonstrated knowledge of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD); Experience with/demonstrated knowledge of Thermal systems design analysis; Experience with/demonstrated knowledge of Leading or contributing to projects involving conjugate heat transfer, multiphase flow, or transient simulations using technical tools CFD, analytical modeling, experimental validation; Direct, hands-on experience developing, or applying turbulence models to engineering problems; Experience with/demonstrated knowledge of MATLAB, Python, SolidWorks, ANSYS FLUENT, Workbench, and FORTRAN; and Experience with/demonstrated knowledge of Multi-phase flows. Compensation:

Base annual salary $120,390 with standard company benefits.
