2+ Years Villapex is a growing MEP consulting engineering firm based in New York City, working on a variety of projects including multifamily residential, mixed-use developments, retail, and high-end residential buildings. We are looking to bring on a Mechanical Engineer with at least 2 years of experience who is motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a small but expanding firm. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior engineers and leadership on real projects from design through construction. Because we are a smaller firm, team members are able to take on responsibility quickly and play a meaningful role in the company's growth. Responsibilities HVAC system design for residential and mixed-use buildings Perform heating and cooling load calculations Support preparation of construction drawings and specifications Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines Participate in site visits and field observations as needed Assist with project coordination and documentation Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar Minimum 2 years of relevant experience Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit Understanding of HVAC systems and building mechanical systems Strong communication and organizational skills EIT certification is a plus but not required What We Offer Opportunity to work directly with experienced engineers on a wide range of NYC projects Hands-on experience and exposure to all aspects of design and construction Strong growth opportunity within a small and expanding firm Commission opportunities tied to project development and company growth Flexible structure (full-time or hourly positions considered) We are looking for someone who is motivated, eager to learn, and interested in being part of the long-term growth of the company.
