The Computing & Applied Technology Department at Onondaga Community College seeks Automotive Technology adjunct instructors for daytime and evening teaching assignments, beginning with the spring 2025 semester and beyond. Courses are typically offered Monday - Thursday, from 8:00am to 10:00pm, with possible Friday and/or Saturday daytime offerings if enrollment demand warrants. Master's degree in Automotive Technology (or a closely-related field), with at least 3 years of related experience. Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology (or closely-related field) with industry-recognized certifications, with at least 3 years of related experience. Associate Degree in Automotive Technology and industry-recognized certifications, with at least 10 years of industry-related experience. Automotive industry experience, industry-recognized training, and industry-recognized certifications, with at least 20 years of industry-related experience.Related Fields:
Automotive Commercial/Heavy Equipment Electrical Mechanical System Engineering Technology Education (CTE, Vocational, etc.)Additional Information:
Adjunct rate of pay for the 25/26 academic year is $1,483/credit hour. Classes will be assigned on an as needed basis dependent upon enrollment. Adjuncts are eligible to participate in the NYS Teacher's Retirement System.Application Instructions:
