Full Job Description Position:
Product Release Engineer Shift:
1st 8:00•5:00
Salary:
$55•$65k
Job Summary:
Responsible for validating and releasing production-ready engineering data. Ensures BOMs, drawings, and release packages are accurate, complete, and aligned across systems (Autodesk Vault, CAD, QBuild CadLink, NetSuite). Acts as a control point between engineering and production to maintain data integrity and prevent errors.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and approve engineering release packages Validate BOM accuracy, structure, and system alignment Ensure CAD files, drawings, and revisions are complete and properly controlled Confirm successful BOM transfer to ERP (NetSuite) Verify change orders (ECNs) and revision history Assemble and publish complete production release packages Communicate and resolve data issues with cross-functional teams
Accountability:
Authority to block releases that do not meet standards Ensure accuracy, traceability, and compliance of all released data
Success Metrics:
No BOM discrepancies across systems No use of outdated or uncontrolled documents Accurate, audit-ready release packages
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and process discipline Experience with BOMs, revision control, and ERP/PLM systems Experience creating engineering drawings for fabricated parts and assemblies Effective communication and problem-solving skills
