Job Description:
Job Description Honda is seeking a CAE Engineer with expertise in NVH and acoustic simulation to support full-vehicle acoustic analysis and audible warning system development. The role involves simulation, testing, correlation, and validation of acoustic performance for automotive systems. Key Responsibilities Perform full-vehicle acoustic simulations for horns, buzzers, and warning devices. Develop and validate
FEM/BEM CAE
models for sound propagation and SPL distribution. Conduct NVH and acoustic analysis for interior and exterior vehicle environments. Support vehicle-level NVH testing and correlation activities. Analyze sound directivity and acoustic performance characteristics. Utilize LMS Lab and other CAE tools for testing and analysis. Collaborate with design and validation teams to improve acoustic performance. Prepare technical documentation and simulation reports. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Acoustics, Automotive Engineering, or related field. 7-10 years of experience in automotive NVH/acoustic simulation. Hands-on experience with vehicle-level NVH testing and validation. Strong knowledge of FEM/BEM acoustic modelling techniques. Experience with LMS Lab is required. Excellent analytical and communication skills.
