Full-time Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and solution-oriented Tooling Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with large manufacturers and tooling suppliers to analyze performance, identify challenges, and implement effective solutions. You'll be hands-on in testing new tools, optimizing processes, and recommending improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and tool life.
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze customer performance/ tooling applications to stated goals and identify areas for improvement.
  • Recommend tooling solutions and design improvements to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Work directly with tooling suppliers to test new tools and validate performance.
  • Troubleshoot tool performance and life issues, suggesting corrective actions.
  • Support Customer Processin ongoing projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging tooling technologies.
Qualifications:
  • Expertise in milling cutting tools, including indexable tools and solid carbide tools.
  • Strong understanding of materials, surface finishes, and surface treatments.
  • Ability to optimize machining parameters and tool geometries for specific applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, positive attitude.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with customers and suppliers.
Pay:
$65,000.00
