job summary: Our client, a global leader in the chemicals industry, is targeting a Sr Mechanical Design Engineer in the Cincinnati Ohio area. This role will have full technical ownership of process designs, managing them from initial vision and 3D modeling to site start-up. Join this growing team where you can drive the development of innovative technologies! Qualified candidates will have a BS in Mechanical Engineering (or related technical field) and 8+ years of experience with design of process equipment. Relocation assistance available.

CINCINNATI, Ohio job type: Permanent salary: $120,000 - 160,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Utilize AutoCAD and Plant 3D to build, analyze, and maintain sophisticated 3D and 2D design files for comprehensive client engineering packages.

Direct the continuous update and integration of P&IDs, leveraging Smart P&ID database functionality to ensure technical accuracy across all schematics.

Execute critical hydraulic calculations to determine precise line sizing and establish specifications for pumps and various rotating equipment.

Ensure all mechanical designs and equipment retrofits adhere to current industry standards, including TEMA, ASME, ASTM, API, and NFPA.Mentoring and managing a small mechanical design team while remaining a high-level individual contributor for project work. #LI-TB1 qualifications: Experience level: ExperiencedMinimum 8 years of experience
