Job Duties:
Design welding fixtures, tooling, and robotic cell layouts for automated systems Create manufacturing-ready drawings, BOMs, and detailed SolidWorks models (GD&T required) Perform structural validation using FEA to guide smart design decisions Integrate pneumatic and low-voltage electrical subsystems into mechanical assemblies Prototype, build, validate, and support onsite installations Drive continuous improvement through engineering change requests and field feedback Partner with manufacturing and supply chain to improve cost, scalability, and deployment efficiency
Qualifications:
B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering 2-6+ years of machine design experience in automation or robotics Strong SolidWorks skills (including Simulation/FEA) Experience with fixture design, robotic cells, and production automation hardware Hands-on mindset — comfortable on the shop floor Understanding of machine safety and mechanical risk reduction Experience working within PDM/PLM systems Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
