Job Description:
Trillium Professional has an immediate openings for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer with this global manufacturing innovator in Columbus, OH! The Mechanical Project Engineer will develop automation systems, machines and mechanisms used in industrial environments. Wide variety of innovative projects! The Mechanical Project Engineer will develop machine concepts, design controls software, integrate software into electrical/mechanical systems, and deploy with the systems internationally for installation!
Activities include:
Design and Develop PLC/software systems, Debug and commission control systems, select, test and integrate hardware and software components such as robotics, motion controllers, vision systems, sensors, lasers and similar, work with controls systems design department and other groups to consistently improve methods of integrating controls technology to enhance safety, reduce cost and improve functionality. We are seeking multiple Mechanical Engineers
  • Entry, Intermediate and Sr.
These will begin as contract positions and can be contract to hire Senior Level position with base salary with OT and travel benefits as well as a robust full benefit program! One-site role in Polaris area of Columbus with domestic and international travel. If you are interested in working with innovative technology, building machines and systems that are new concepts and disrupt conventional operating and production strategies, this could be for you! To be qualified for this role, the Mechanical Project Engineer will have:
  • 5-10 years mechanical design experience
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or AS with experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Strong Solid works 3D CAD experience
  • PDM/PLM software experience
  • Automation machine/system design of assembly and test equipment and linear motion solutions
