This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, develop cutting-edge solutions, and ensure projects meet rigorous industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, CAD software, and project management, with a passion for pushing technological boundaries. Duties Develop comprehensive mechanical designs using CAD tools such as SolidWorks and Creo, ensuring accuracy and manufacturability. Create detailed schematics and technical drawings aligned with industry standards like GD&T and ASME codes. Lead project scheduling efforts to ensure timely delivery of engineering milestones and coordinate cross-functional teams effectively. Perform root cause analysis on design issues or system failures, implementing corrective actions to optimize performance. Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and other simulations using tools like MATLAB, Simulink, or LabVIEW to validate designs under various conditions. Oversee system design integration involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Arduino platforms, and other automation hardware. Collaborate on manufacturing processes, providing technical support for CNC machining, mechanical assembly, and quality assurance procedures. Experience Proven experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on mechanical design, system integration, or product development. Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo for drafting and modeling complex components. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including CNC machining, FEA analysis, and prototyping techniques. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), LabVIEW, MATLAB, Simulink, and Arduino for automation and control systems. Experience applying ASME codes & standards in designing pressure vessels or mechanical systems is highly desirable. Ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting on mechanical or electrical system issues. Prior involvement in project scheduling, schematics creation, or system design within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
