It is well suited for an engineer who enjoys technical depth, hands-on involvement with complex machinery, and seeing designs become fully functioning systems. Responsibilities Design mechanical assemblies, frames, tanks, enclosures, piping, pneumatic systems, and motion elements for automated ultrasonic cleaning systems. Create detailed 3D CAD models using SolidWorks (or similar 3D CAD tools) and generate production-ready 2D drawings with appropriate GD&T. Develop, release, and maintain accurate mechanical Bills of Materials (BOMs), specifications, and supporting documentation for each project. Perform engineering analyses as needed, including stress analysis/FEA, basic thermal and flow analysis, tolerance stack-ups, and materials selection to ensure reliable and robust designs. Create and maintain Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and pneumatic schematics to support system documentation and build.
