Overview:

Seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to design and develop custom industrial equipment used in heavy manufacturing environments. This role requires a practical problem-solver who enjoys working on varied projects and collaborating closely with production teams and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead projects from concept through installation Develop and evaluate mechanical designs based on customer requirements Create and review drawings, models, and bills of materials Use SolidWorks and AutoCAD for 3D modeling and drafting Support sales with technical input and cost estimates Provide troubleshooting and technical assistance to service teams and clients Contribute to new product development and continuous improvement initiatives Assist in standardizing designs and improving product efficiency Perform cost analysis for pricing and profitability Maintain direct communication with internal teams and external customers

Qualifications:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) with 3+ years of experience Strong experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD Exposure to manufacturing or industrial equipment environments Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) Project management experience is a plus Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects independently

Role involves occasional travel (~10%) Requires interaction across departments and with clients Must be comfortable working in a production environment
