Working as aidge between sales and production teams, the Palfinger

USA, LLC

Mechanical Engineer uses customer input and sales information tosign or resign,velop, test and implement truck systemsigns and applications. They also prov technical support and expertise to the manufacturing team on the shop floor during builds. Mechanical Engineers reach across manypartments, working within the engineering team and with the sales team, the customer service team and the manufacturing team. The Mechanical Engineer is consred an "expert" in Truck and Aerial application analysis andvelopment. This position is onsite at 4151 SR 18, Tiffin, OH 44883 and reports to the Engineering Manager.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Works with Quoting to assure complete and accurate information exists for all ors. Responds to functional and technical elements of bids and quotes. Articulates productsigns to both business and technical users. Assists in thesign andvelopment of new products to satisfy customer requirements. Provs input to product enhancements and process improvements. Develops and maintains accuratesign data, 3D mls and 2D drawings for both internal and external customers. Works with Product Engineers tovelop necessary options andsign solutions. Develops and maintains databases for: project management; standard unitsign; standard options; and sales information. Works with Manufacturing Team to ensure quality build. Develops chassis application knowledge and supporting year ml data. Supports R D engineering in translating customer's needs into manufacturable products. Builds, distributes, and coordinates shop review packets including: Complete BOMs; electrical and hydraulic schematics; and option placement drawings. Resolves customer issues in a way that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives. Provs status, written and oral, of ongoing projects and future projects. Makes necessary engineering calculations to support product selection/recommendation.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology. Experience 2-5 Years in similar productsign or product management. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Proficient with SolidWorks or other parametricsign software. Can create and read mechanical and electrical drawings and has a solid urstanding of basic electrical and mechanical control systems. Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Proven project management skills. High results-driven attit. Able to work with minimal supervision. Available for Travel 10%.
