Job Description

Innovative Technologies Corporation (ITC) is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with
SCIF/MILCON
experience to support a proposal we are bidding on for the National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC) Project Delivery Team (PDT) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. We estimate the award will be made in late 2026. This position will provide senior-level facility engineering support for the National Space Intelligence Center Space Force Intelligence Facility (SFIF) Military Construction (MILCON) project. The selected candidate will serve as the lead mechanical engineering subject matter expert supporting facility design review, construction oversight, commissioning, infrastructure integration, and facility acceptance activities associated with a new Intelligence Community-accredited facility. Required Clearance Level Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance. Ability to obtain and maintain SCI eligibility and any required SAP access. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution. Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Ohio. Minimum 15 years of mechanical engineering experience. Experience supporting Military Construction (MILCON) projects. Experience supporting facility design, construction, commissioning, and turnover activities. Experience reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and construction submittals. Experience supporting HVAC, mechanical, utility, and building support systems. Experience coordinating with architects, engineers, construction managers, and contractors. Experience performing facility inspections and engineering assessments. Expertise in oral and written English communications skills. Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office environment is essential (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint). Desired Qualifications Experience supporting Intelligence Community facilities. Experience supporting SCIF construction projects. Experience supporting ICD 705-compliant facilities. Experience supporting DIA accreditation efforts. Experience supporting Air Force, Space Force, NASIC, or NSIC organizations. Experience supporting large-scale secure facility construction programs. Experience supporting facility activation and operational transition activities. Experience supporting federal facility engineering programs. Key Responsibilities Serve as the lead Facility Engineering advisor supporting the
NSIC SFIF
Project Delivery Team. Review facility design packages, engineering drawings, and technical specifications. Evaluate mechanical system designs for compliance with project requirements and mission needs. Support review and evaluation of construction submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs). Monitor facility construction activities and provide engineering recommendations to the Government. Support commissioning, testing, and acceptance of facility mechanical systems. Assist in identifying and resolving engineering issues impacting project cost, schedule, or performance. Coordinate with Government personnel, design firms, construction contractors, and facility stakeholders. Support facility readiness, activation, and occupancy planning efforts. Provide engineering assessments and recommendations throughout the facility lifecycle. Participate in facility inspections, design reviews, and project meetings. Immediately report engineering issues, deficiencies, and project risks affecting facility delivery. Compensation & Benefits The Salary for this contingent hire position is $185,000 to $205,000 based on experience and includes medical/dental/vision benefits, 10 days PTO and 7 days sick time; other benefits available.
