Day BlueWorx is seeking a driven and highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team in Noble, Oklahoma. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys solving complex challenges, and takes ownership of projects from concept through completion. We are looking for someone who is proactive, resourceful, and committed to delivering high-quality results while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Position Overview The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, improving, and supporting manufacturing equipment, processes, and products. This role will work closely with production, operations, quality, and leadership teams to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure products meet customer and industry standards. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and improve mechanical systems, components, and manufacturing processes Create and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation Support new product development from concept through production Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and increased efficiency Analyze manufacturing challenges and develop practical engineering solutions Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and management teams to support operational goals Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues Assist with equipment selection, installation, and optimization Evaluate designs for manufacturability, reliability, and performance Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, safety requirements, and company procedures Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and production objectives Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required Professional engineering experience in manufacturing, industrial, or production environments preferred Experience with mechanical design, process improvement, and manufacturing systems Proficiency with CAD software and engineering design tools Strong understanding of manufacturing principles and production processes Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and project management abilities Ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision Skills & Abilities Strong mechanical aptitude and engineering fundamentals Self-motivated with a proactive, results-driven mindset Ability to identify opportunities and take ownership of solutions Experience managing projects from concept through implementation Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Effective communication with production personnel, vendors, and leadership teams Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement Ability to think critically and make sound engineering decisions Physical Requirements Ability to move throughout manufacturing and production areas Occasional lifting, bending, reaching, and climbing as required Ability to inspect equipment and production processes on the shop floor Ability to work at a desk and computer for extended periods Ability to wear required personal protective equipment when in production areas Work Environment Manufacturing and industrial production environment Frequent interaction with production equipment, machinery, and fabrication operations Combination of office and shop floor responsibilities Fast-paced environment focused on innovation, quality, and operational excellence Collaborative team culture with opportunities to make a direct impact on company growth #AEC
